I went through the FAQ's bit didn't really see my questions there so here's what I'm trying to figure out. I racked my brew into my corny keg and hooked up the Co2. I could here a bit of a leak from the pressure relief valve and I even saw some StrarSan foam coming out of it. I took it apart and cleaned it but still no joy so I went to the LHBS and bought a new one. I've installed it and there is no audible leaking. However, I have been turning the valve on the gauge set off after charging to 11#. After a while (couple hours to over night) I go back and crack open the valve and I hear it charging the tank some more. Is this normal (absorption of the Co2) or is my tank still leaking somewhere?
My second question has to do with how long to keep the tank charged at the recommended pressure for my brew (2.5 volumes and sitting at 38°). Do I leave it a week and then back it down to a serving pressure or??? So far it has been charged for about 36 hours at 11psi.
Thanks for the help!
