Just wondering has anyone attempted growing hops indoors? i know with limited height space it wont get so big but nutrients can be added for a better yeild compensation. Would they do well in a commercia hydroponic system such as the areo-garden?

Just a random thought.
 
Doesn't work well. They need lots of light. A hydroponic setup would work, but those would be some really expensive hops! If you wanted to grow some rhizomes by the window and keep 'em trimmed down, they would build up pretty good for outside growth down the road when you can plant outside. Apartment ornamentals till you can play outside?
 
I wish i had the room or the cash to grow my own hops but i lack both. thanks for the info though
