I plan on making a Oatmeal Stout tomorrow and the only oats I have available are steel cut oats. Can I cook/cereal mash today and then use them in my main mash on brew day (tomorrow).

I've used steel cut oats before, but I've done the cereal mash when I'm heating the strike water for the batch. I don't seen an issue with cooking them today and then using them tomorrow in the mash, though.
