Hey guys im looking for a recipe the will give me a higher abv style dont really matter but I cant do all grain yet if you have one to share I would love to give it a try.

Toucan Sout
1 can coopers dark ale
1 can coopers stout
1 kg dextrose

Only trouble is it should conditon for about 4 months. But it is a great beer

Try a trippel or a BGS. They can go anywhere from 7 to 12%.

Simple recipes, no specialty grains, and about 20% (sometimes more) table sugar. Just make sure you use a decent Belgian liquid yeast (no dry yeast).

Ive done a extract with specialty grains, it was a double amber came out at 8.9. Ive also done a DFH 90min clone partail mash that was real good and came out at 8.5.

Let me know if u want one of the recipes.

I've done a couple 10.0% brews be it simple extract recipes with steepers.. there are a ton of recipe's out there but you're still looking at this being ready or palatable by New Years 2014 right? (2-3 months primary 3-4 months bottle condition)
Big beer takes big time..........
