Cooking this up this weekend and wondering if anyone has experimented with this. This is only my second batch and its an extract kit. Planning on adding medium plus toasted oak spiral that's been soaked in JD for two weeks in the secondary. Any thoughts or tips would be appreciated.

Got a late start on this but have it in primary right now and first sample was great. Will be adding oak and bourbon to secondary in the next week or so. Will keep posting updates.

Question: what will 16oz. Bourbon do to my ABV? OG was 1.050

Update, been kegged now for 2 weeks. This stuff is great! A little heavy on the oak but it is mellowing out. Mouthfeel is a little light for me considering it is a stout but very good flavor, the bourbon really stands out.
