Ok, I've never been a big IPA fan but I brewed the AHS Anniversary IPA and I can't stop drinking it! I think I may be crossing over to the Dark Side!

First craft beer I drank was a DIPA and I about gagged.
First few beers I've brewed were anti-hoppy: amber ale, cream ale, stout, fruit wheat, etc. I found myself CRAVING hops like a fiend. Now I've got 8 oz of cascades in the mail for a pale ale
Palates change. It's cool. I'm still really having trouble downing the rest of this imperial stout. Ack

Oh, don't get me wrong I still love a big malty beer but, damn this IPA goid

I think extremely hoppy beers take some getting use to.

One day, any true beer freak will want the taste of hops in their mouth. It will be unexpected, but it will happen.
Of course there IS a plate on the wall at the Flying Saucer, Houston that says "I still hate IPA's".
