I'm brewin tonight! How's this lookin?

For 5.5 Gallons:

3 lbs Briess Golden Light Dry Extract
1 lb Simpson's Golden Promise
1 lb Maris Otter
1 lb Wyerman Cara Aroma
.75 lbs Melanoiden Malt
.5 lbs Wyerman Chocolate Rye
.5 lbs Crisp Chocolate Malt
.5 oz Special B
.25 lbs Crisp Roasted Barley

+24 oz molasses at flameout

Yeast: Nottingham

Hops: 1 oz Fuggles at 60M, 1 oz Fuggles at 10M

Standard infusion mash @ 154F for 60M, remove grains and boil for 75M.

Secondary, add cold extraction of 1 lb good dark roast coffee

Estimated ABV: 6.3%

I ended up making the following changes and brewed this!

I subbed out the Special B for Crystal 120L, and 2 lbs piloncillo for the 24 oz of molasses- which I thought might bring up the ABV slightly, however my gravity reading was lower than intended (1.060). Maybe I had some poor efficiency.

It smelled fantastic as it was brewing, and the vapors out of the airlock make me want to stick my head in the carboy. This is going to be good!
