Primary Fermentation Question

I have a Cab that started at 1.090. At day 9 and 10 it's at 1.036. I've kept temps at 74 degrees. Should I be concerned?

This is my first wine, thanks for any help!

You are 2/3 done in 9 days, meaning you are on track to be done at about Day 15.

Sounds perfectly fine to me!

Concerned about? Sounds totally normal. Drinking my homemade Wash Cab right now, damn good. Homemade wine is unbelievable value!

The Eclipse kit said it should be done in 7 days, but to check the gravity every day.

The days are only a guide, but your hydrometer tells the real deal. 5-8-10 days is pretty common to reach 2/3 drop from original gravity.

I'm at day 14 and the gravity is at 1.032. I wonder if the one pack of Lalvin yeast wasn't enough?

Ok, now you are officially stalled out. What's the ferment temp?

Try stirring gently to re-suspend the yeast/wake them up.

DOH ! I was measuring with my refractometer. FG is at 95 with a hydrometer. All is well.
