Just kinda threw this together because a friend gave me some Willamette he grew. Feel free to give input, I will be brewing this at some point next week.

8 lbs 2-Row
2 lbs Vienna
1 Caramel 40

1 oz Centennial (8.4% AA) at 60
1 oz Willamette at 15
1 oz Willamette at flameout

Nottingham Yeast

Expected OG: 1.055
Expected FG: 1.013
IBU: ~40

I considered adding a small amount of roasted barley to make it a true american amber/red

Willamette = fuggles

Am I correct?

Willamette and fuggles are related and very similar but different. Willamette tends to be a bit fruitier in my experience.

Tasting this now, came out awesome! May have to brew a batch with pellet willamette to compare the difference from wet to commercial hops! image-3264279961.jpg image-12385390.jpg
