First is Smithwicks paturized or not. Second, do I need a CO2/N2 miixture to tap a keg or will a CO2 and standard tap work. I am new to a guinness type stout and need some advice. Thanks...

when i order it at a pub it comes off a standard co2 tap (i order it a lot). i got it once off a nitro tap but didnt notice much of a flavor difference.

How long does smithwicks last in a keg? Is it like a pasturized beer that stays fresh longer?

If I'm around, about 4 days...:cross:

Kegs are pretty sterile environments (assuming conditions were proper during filling, etc) and Smithwicks is a red ale, so given all of these variables; it'll keep for a good long time.

How long are you thinking of letting it stay in there?
