I can still feel and hear simon. Great memories of spending my early childhood in big bear for new years in a cabin we'd always rent. It's weird how well I remember that place. Love this thread

Was in Barnes And Noble bookstore a couple of weeks ago...and they're still selling "Mad Libs." And even several different varieties! Amazing!

That was more like the style of "parachute pants" I had. It was bitchin with my skinny ties and my heavy metal cowboy boots with the steel toe caps and skulls on them.

Actually there's a lot of pics of me from that era, college radio, public radio, and music event producing.
Early 80's college radio, black parachute pants, heavy metal cowboy boots, skinny tie and baggy sportcoat from value village.
A couple years later.... I think technically that was a mullet, even though it was a "stylish" one.
Yeah, a Mullet...Timeline wise, this pic should be in the middle of the three. If the first pic was 84-85ish, this would be somewhere around 86, and the pic above would prolly be about 88-89

some of this stuff was getting to "new" for me -
we didn't have anything computerized (even Pong at home, and PacMan in the Godfather's Pizza) until I was over 20
