I've done several Coopers brews. I just did a Northern Brewer kit this past week. As the Cooopers kits are no boil and pre-hopped, this is the first time I've added hops myself.

Pellet type hops were included. I tried to leave as much sediment behind in the brew pot, but I can see there are quite a few hops in the carboy.

Is this normal?

Assuming that this is normal, will these settle out as fermentation continues?

Thanks for your help!

Once your fermentation is done in the primary, you could rack to a secondary for further clarifying/conditioning. This will also help to clear the beer of any particles of hops.

Hop partcles are hard to avoid when using pellets. Do your best to rack around them. I usually use whole leaf hops and only use pellets when they're not available in leaf form.

It's just a personal preference though.
