I have a 2 lbs of light DME, would that suffice for a smash? Or should I go ahead and get some Marris and 2-row? Planning on some small batches to give SMASH a whirl.

It would depend on the size of your batch and what original gravity you wanted to target. You might use some brewing software and plot out our small batch smash experiments. Have fun!
