Headed to the boardwalk soon. Any of the bars out there have a good craft beer selection?

Not exactly on the boardwalk... but a short walk from there...

Skallywags Suds N Grub

PLenty of great craft beer on tap... the place is not big at all.. but they have 30-40 taps and a nice cooler selection also.

Food is above average.

Since the Boardwalk is all Landry's-owned, there is really nothing good about the beer selections in any restaurant on the Boardwalk. Down the street a little ways, though, there are a few places with really good selection.

Quite near Skallywags is Bakkhus. It's a Greek restaurant that has very decent craft beer menu featuring the local breweries. The food's real good too and they've got a nice outdoor seating area overlooking the street. :)

Bakkhus and Skallywags are owned by the same people.. so that makes sense.. I've never been into Bakkhus before..thanks for the info.

This just in.... there will be another craft beer spot in the future...

Hubcap Grill will be opening their third burger joint in Kemah. The others are in the Heights and downtown Houston.

Hubcap keeps a nice bottle selection of craft beer on hand. Their burgers are some of the best I've ever had. Better than Tookies and Stomps in my opinion, which are both in the Kemah area.

He has a good relationship with Saint Arnold and always ends up getting some of the Bishops Barrel series beers when they are released.
