Alcohol taste after 3 weeks in the bottle

I have just finished an ahs fat tire clone and at week 2 of bottling it was pretty good but needed more carbonation so I let it sit for another week. Now I have the taste of alcohol and a bit of hops at week 3. Also I effed up and added a 1% alcohol booster to the boil. But landed at only 6.25. The bubbles are perfect the taste is just off. Any ideas of what to do? Ps beer is not that dark. Poor lighting tall head is due to a hard pour.

You need to let it bottle condition. If your not happy with it, it means that it more than likely need time. It's green.

Check on it in another couple weeks.

I'd agree that it's green. Quit drinking it and let it sit for a few more weeks and you'll most likely be pleasantly surprised.
