One of my brother in laws has been doing fishing charters for 40+ yrs and tuna fished for 20+. Did my fair share of chumming while fishing with him . So this was my first thought.
Chumbucket brewing. Most my friends tell me I'm a tad strange ,so my second thought was a play on words. not sure which I like yet.

Decided to go with the F.C.B.C.
Spent a couple hours re-doing the logo. Had a real hard time getting the bubbles to work. Once I got them behind the lettering I was happy with it.
Boy ,sure could use a cold beer about now.

House of Sin Brewery.

I've lived with my wife for the last 3 1/2 years. We've been married less than a year. We'd jokingly call our apartment and then house the [lastname] and [lastname] House of Sin. I thought House of Sin Brewery had a nice ring to it. Now I just need to get the wife to draw me up a logo since she's much better at that sort of thing.

The two other options I thought of were, Spartan Brewing Co., since I'm a huge Michigan State fan. Problem is there's a Spartan Brewing. Or, The Born-Again Texan Brewery, since I moved from Michigan to Texas and absolutely love the Lone Star State. I can never been a native Texan, but I like to think of myself born again as a Texan.

I am more into history and folklore, so I put my brewery into Sherwood Forest, circa 13th-14th Century.

Mine doesn't have a great story, just named after the nonsense that comes out of my mouth, because my mind is always working faster than my mouth can handle. Took the theme of weirds words and ran with it. All my beers have crazy mixed up names.

Okay so I signed up for this site just so I can point out how insane your site is.

YOU GUYS BREW BEER IN THAT KITCHEN?

I have to look up some of your other posts just to point out your site to people.

Farr-Out Brewery
Mainly becasue my last name is Farr, and my favorite movie is The Big Lebowski. a couple of times in the movie the dude says "far out". So it just seemed like a nice fit.

Kaden Stone Brewery. My son's name. The left portion is where the beer name and details go. The logo is something i altered from a celtic protection shield, an ancient symbol found on the shields of celtics warriors from the 9th century, I am in the army so it fits, and i have it tattooed on my forearm.

Rusty Anchor Brewery, I was in the Navy and some friends and I used to make some killer (not in the good sense) hooch on the ship and we used to joke that it was strong enough to take the rust off a rusty anchor. Those were good guys and some of them came home in a box. Each time I brew a batch I feel close to them again.

Element Brewing Co.

No real brewery or labels yet, just an idea. I liked chemistry throughout my schooling, especially the periodic table. It is probably one of the most well thought, simple when you figure it out, best organized tools in science. Pure brilliance. So I name my beers with short abreviations that look like they could fit onto a periodic table of beer!

It could lead to a whole bunch of neat marketing things if I ever really did go into business....:D yeah a little bit of a pipe dream.

I wanted something science-y, and I liked the alliteration, hence Rigid Rotor Brewing. A lot of people use dogs, lakes, and such for names, (not that there's anything wrong with that, I might brew a "40 pound pug Ale" after my mother's fat pug) I wanted something different.

I really wanted a name that has something to do with brewing... After serching brewing terms and checking several other names that were already taken I came up with:

Strike Water Brewing Co. or Strike Water Brewhouse

I think the first is it.. I just cant think of a graphic yet for it...

TibbMel Brewing: named after the 2 cats I had when I started brewing. Tiberius is long gone, Melvin is still hanging in there but at 16yrs old, not sure for how much longer.

Rigid Rotor is a very cool name, and a cool emblem IMO. My brewery name is Sullen Cross Brewing, after my Great grandfather who was know to drink too much and be "sullen and cross" at times. I have yet to create an emblem.
Cheers,
Brian

My dog is VERY lazy:

Wha.... that's crazy. I **** you not when we were bouncing ideas around for our brewing name we thought of a lot of things but none of them seemed to stick.

Then I suggested "Lazy Dog" because when we were brewing our first beer my dog (Mocha) just lay in the kitchen and we had to walk around her and do everything while she just sat around.

What a coincidence. But now I feel kinda bad because you had the name first and I feel unoriginal. Oh well will notice.

Well I joined this forum the other day and haven't been far from it for more than 8 hours.

I've always had the name picked out and its after my Dog. We got him in 2001 and I started brewing and my wife and I said hes such a Lazy Brown Dog (we called him LDB for short sometimes) He's Black Lab/Mastiff mix 128ish lbs.

Since going through this whole thread I got worried since There is a Lazy Dog Brewery www.lazydogbrewery.com (got to give you props!:mug:) then I saw Big Black Dog Brewery.

Dogs are mans best friend and if he doesn't have a dog most of the time his buddy is in his hand keeping him nice and cool on hot days or just relaxing.

My last name is Schott (pronounced shot). Thought maybe, Big Schott Brewing Company. Still toying with the idea. Could go with Schotty Beer- with the tag- "Who cares if it's bad, its free beer from your home brewing buddy!"

I'm going with Spindleville Brewing Company. My section of town used to be called spindleville. There was a mill that made spindles for sewing machinery. It still exists, but is now a machine shop. The name is no longer used except to name the pond nearby. I like the historical component. Much better than Mill St. Brewing (my street). I'm sure lots of folks use that one and the wife didn't like any plays on Dead songs like New Minglewood Brews.

When I close my eyes, I see this thing, a sign, I see this name in bright blue neon lights with a purple outline. And this name is so bright and so sharp that the sign - it just blows up because the name is so powerful... It says, "Glorious Morning Brewery"

I have to come up with a brewery name. So far I've been going with H22 because that was the apartment I started in. Apparently that's a popular naming scheme!

Burning Fence Brewery - I came up with it a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't able to come up with a good name for a long time, but then I remembered when we moved into our house about a year ago I accidentally set my neighbor's yard/fence on fire. yeah...that was the first time I met her too

Wamoma Brewing. The three states I have lived in. Chronologicallly from now to the past. Geographically west to east.

I'm pretty much down to two choices

Rand Ales Brewery

based on my name and

Oak Forest Brewing Co.

based on where I live

I couldn't think of a "cool" brewery name, so I chose 281 brewery. 281 is the cubic inch displacement of my 07 Mustang GT.

Please change your records: My brewery has been renamed to Quicksilver Home Brewery. My back yard is Quicksilver Home Brewery & BurgerWorks. My garage is Quicksilver Tap Room and Casino.

Sorry to muck up your rolodex.

I live in the shadow of Quicksilver Park. It's a cool place with lots of hiking trails, etc.
