Alright I bought a Rancho ETC 111000 and wired it all by myself. But now I'm confused as where to put the probe? I'm attaching it to a chest freezer im going to be using as my fermentor. Do I tape it in the inside of the freezer? Or attach it to something around the compressor? Any help would be appreciated?

I'm just gonna start off by saying that I don't know the answer to this question, but I just bought a rancho controller as well and I plan on putting the probe in one of these...

Tape it to the side of your fermenter about midway from the bottom to the top of the liquid. I use the blue painters tape so it doesn't leave glue everywhere. After it's taped to the side, I tape a folded up hand rag over the probe to help insulate.
