I am looking at a 1.25" diameter RIMS tube. The price is right, but I want to make sure that the size is too.

I was under the impression that you wanted 1.5" or 2" diameter, will 1.25" work? Will. Be limited in the type of element I could use. I am planning on doing a 110v system.

Thanks

I used 1.25" dia. copper for my rims tube. Been using it for 5 years now with no issues.

Believe the element is a 4500 watt -240 volt, but I'm using it on 120 volts.
