I would if I were going to store it for more that a few days.
as long as it was very well sealed. moisture would be VERY bad

By taste it, I mean put it in your mouth and taste it. Fresh and old. Your tounge will learn.

I once stored crushed grain in a sealed bucket for 3 weeks and the beer came out great.
