Was enjoying a Black Butte Porter this evening and it suddenly occured to me it didn't taste the same. Earlier in the day I had another beer that tasted less than it should have as well as all my samplings during work.

Am I the only one that experiences this occasionally?
 
Yep, drinking beer depends on lots of factors. If you only drink the best beers, at least you have that going for you.
 
Once a few months ago I swear I had a lemon taste stuck in my mouth for a week. It was ruining everything I drank.

Other times I definitely have felt I shouldn't have served myself a beer because I just couldn't enjoy the flavors. Just drinking to drink is no fun for me anymore. I have to savor the flavor.
 
I hate my allergies. I'll be travelling for my job and have a chance to try some awesome beer, then can barely taste it because my sinuses are plugged up.
 
Taking medication can sometimes give me unfavorable tastes too. Oh, this too:
