Is there a list of which grain does what?

I've been doing extract brewing for a few months now and really want to step it up to all grain brewing. Is there a list of different grains and what they taste like and/or do for the beer? I literally have no idea what the main differences are.

That will tell you the color, flavors, potential, yield, and whether or not it needs to be mashed.

I have used this to help me create a recipe. I also just downloaded the free Brewtarget which is has all the info saved in it already.

Look into getting Beersmith it will really help you out... has all the information you could really want (at least for me)

I've used BeerSmith for a couple years... love it! Especially now that there's a Linux beta.

Brew Target is pretty dang good too... also free and open-source
