First batch of kegging, appreciate the input.
I set my pressure to 20 psi, let sit for 3 days, tested carbonation under serving pressure of 11 psi, realized I needed to let it go a bit longer.

Question 1.
Do I need to detach the beer line when trying to reach equilibrium of 11psi or can I keep them attached?

Question 2.
If I detach them, is the beer sealed in the line and will it remain under carbonation?

No. You do not have to detach the beer line, but make it is tightly hose-clamped to the shank (learned the hard way at 40psi. . . )

Yes, the beer in the line is under pressure. As long as the fridge stays the same temp, it should maintain the same volume of Co2. You can prove this by removing the beerline and then dispensing some of what is trapped in the lines directly from the tap.
