So i have noticed that when I open a cold beer there is a big difference in the head in the glass than when I open another beer of the same kind. The cold one has smaller bubbles and less head whereas the warm one has larger bubbles and a lot more head. I pour them both the same way. Does anyone know why this is? Or possibly the science behind it?

It's a lot harder to keep the CO2 absorbed in warm beer. When you pour the warm beer and cold beer the same way, more CO2 comes out of solution in the warm beer, generating a larger head.

Interesting. I don't know why I've just now noticed this. I guess I've just been too excited to drink the brew. Haha!
