Custom Carved Tap Handles

a friend of mine is a novice wood carver and volunteered (was drafted) to carve some tap handles for my kegerator. :ban:

second tap is obviously a Boundary Bay IPA handle....

and that's not all - he has promised more handles are on the way. :mug:

he told me it was a soft wood, but i don't know what kind.

now he's working on harder wood...we'll see what he comes up with next.

Between the color, straight grain, and "novice carver" comment my guess is bass.
