Been working on this for a few months now with my good friend Mike, not even close to being done but wanted to get some progress pictures up

Picked up a craigslist special chest freezer that can hold 6 cornies. The owner even helped me bring it over so i gave him a bottle of mead to share with the missus :)

Wow, nice work, I'll definitely be following this one... You obviously have a fair amount of wood working experience and some nice tools in your shop... Quick question... For the corner pieces, did you use a table saw to cut a 45* miter the full length of each 1x4?

Exactly :)

Going to be staining and tiling, building the draft box, plumbing and all that.

More pictures soon!

Just purchased the taps/shanks and lines for this. Going to start with just 4 taps, i will have 4 pouring and 2 carbing/conditioning. Went with 3 525ss perlicks and 1 575 creamer faucet. 4 and 1/8 ss shanks and 50 feet of bev line all on the way!

Thirsty and agitated when the air compressor is putting out waaaay too much power and throwing nails right through the wood for no damn reason. :drunk:

6 months and finally we had some time to work on this. Trying to get it done for new years. Here is a pic of the marble installed and the holes for co2 and beer.

looks amazing.

how many work hours do you think it took?

and HOLY CLAMPS batman.

I would say around 8 to 10 hours of actual build work. Hundreds of hours of planning and buying wood/parts.

The next one will go much smoother I think

After over a year and over a thousand dollars it is done!

Full view with my pup Archer being the model he is.

Inside the draft box and the side door for co2 and the temperature regulator

Still need to grout the marble, mount the temperature regulator, add two more taps and attach some gas struts to assist with lifting and closing the lid... Oh and find a long enough drip tray.

Pouring beer perfectly however.

Two ipas, a Munich lager and a cider on tap right now :)

Oh and in case anyone is wondering what those knob things are on either side of the taps. Those are champagne corks playing place holder until I get the other two taps in ;-)

Be proud dude. That not only looks fantastic you can see it's a quality build and not something made of pressed board that Ikea might sell.

Now when and where is the party?
