Chugger Pump Threads?

My chugger came in last night. As mentioned before, the threads are a little...off. It looks like they had issues with the mold. They kind of "bulge" in a spot or two.

Will this cause any leaks? I haven't had a chance to screw a nipple on and see how it mates up yet.

You get the SS one? Or the plastic?
I know the ad said the SS one had issues so they were protos. Been waiting for mass production to purchase one. If the plastic has issues, that just sucks.

I purchased two of the SS prototypes. Mine were also a little goofy out of the box. I needed an extra wrap of tape on both in and out to achieve a good seal, but once done, they have been golden

It's the plastic model.

I figure some teflon tape or a dab of food grade silicon will fix any leak issues. Since I plan on using QD's, once I get a good seal it should stay good.

Just wondered if anybody else had dealt with this yet.
