Just racked onto 3oz of homegrown cascade hop cones and they are pushed right up to the top of the carboy keeping half of them dry. Should I poke the dry hops down to get them soggy or will they eventually get soggy and sink on their own? Planning a 7-14 day dry hop/secondary.

First time hopping with cones, and my own for that matter :rockin:

Most of them should suck up the wort/get wet within a day or so, I wouldn't worry about pushing them down.

Thanks. Thats what I figured but if they haven't started to sink within a day or two I may be tempted to poke them a bit. Gotta get them soaking at least.

I did a light swirl last night and it didn't budge really. Might have to give it a better swirl today. Good thing I didn't try to jam 4oz in there :D
