Im going to be doing some 11 gallon batches, they will be split in half to be shared with a friend, is a 15 gallon keggle or pot big enough? It seems like it will be close, how many gallons do you keggle owners come away with?

you can easly do a full boil in a 15.5 gal converted keg fo a 12.5 gallon batch. I just steped up to a 14 gallon batch I do a full boil and then add 2 gallons of water to the end of the boil about 10-15 min before flame out.

I have a 15 gallon pot (not a keggle) and can do 10 gallon batches easy.

But I need to do closer to 11 gallon batches as the will be split. I don't want to hear "I didn't get a full corny of beer" my friends are petty.:D

That's what I do. 11 gal batch = 13 or so gallon boil.
