--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Recipe Type: All Grain
Yeast: wyeast am lager
Batch Size (Gallons): 10
Original Gravity: 1052
Final Gravity: 1015
IBU: 34.1
Boiling Time (Minutes): 90
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 21/48

10 lbs pale malt 2 row
5 lbs munich malt 10L
1 lb crystal malt 60L
4 oz crystal hops 4.10 for 90 mins
2 3/4 cups honey added last 15 mins of boil

Mash at 122 for 30 mins, raise to
154 for 40 mins

Been messing around with honey for 6 monthes or so, and this is the best recipe I've came up with yet!!!:mug:

Not tried that recipe but I'll make a couple of suggestions about it.

1. Measure honey by weight, not volume.
2. Add the honey post boil, during the cool-down (I typically add it when the wort is under 110-100F)...
3. You can add some for primary fermentation, and then add the rest once things have calmed down some. NOT after racking to another vessel... I would add it right on the yeast cake.
4. You can also opt for honey malt. Or use honey malt and some honey in the recipe.
