in process of building one. wondering if there are any downfalls of going with stainless steel fridge? my worry is it it will show dings/scratches more over time. if people spill on it and gets dirty.

is black a safer bet down the road in terms of looking good in few years.
 
The cool factor for stainless is hard to beat. But, the pratical side of black was the winner for me. Stainless is a PITA to keep clean. Black, you just wipe.
