Hops in the carboy; no fermentation

So, I brewed 24 hrs ago and see that my pet yeast clones are not feeding on their sugary solution. My possible causes:

Didn't aerate enough after pitching the yeast-- probably ok..
Too cold.... the stuff is 64 degrees (IPA) so I doubt it...
Hops in the carboy because my straining method was less than perfect; I suspect this if it's anything
Dead Yeast?? I kept the stuff in the fridge for a couple of weeks before using... was I supposed to keep in the freezer?

Any ideas why this might occur and/or if I need to do anything? I've never had this happen before..

I'll be patient but will be ready to act! Thanks!
 
As soon as I figure out how to delete my own thread, I will.

The beer is fermenting like crazy!!! Burping like Barney Gumbel. :mug:
