Hello all, I will be brewing a "Revolution Bitter" today in honor of October 14th and the formal legalization of homebrewing. Figured this weekend would be a big weekend for homebrewers. Roll call for recipes to be brewed on this historic day?

My PM pale ale is still bubbling away very slowly. Gettin close...
But I keep thinkin I read 1979 for the year Jimmy Carter signed it into law, modifying the wording that was messed up back in '33.

I'll be bottling my American Cream Ale and throwing some vanilla beans in my porter today.

One of the few things Carter did right.

Just cleaning kegs and the brew room today, getting ready for new glycol lines for the taps.

Finishin up some cleaning myself. BK almost done, then nearly a case of empties I still have to get done & straighten things up a bit. I guess that's one advantage of having a man cave?...

I was wondering, why are you are steeping a little amount of 2 row base malt?

You didn't say exactly what "L" the crystal malts were. That makes it rather vague.

The lovibond is listed in the item as srm. Thomas Fawcett doesn't put a L on there crystal product name just a range of lovibond ie pale crystal 1 = 20 to 27L

Ehh, I brewed but not due to any significance of the date.

Sat: Scotch Ale (to get the yeast cake ready for a Barleywine to be brewed around christmas)
Sun: Winter Solstice clone (winter warmer) and a Double Black IPA (Stone 15th anniv clone).
