I'm getting ready to order my love controllers for my Brutus 10 and there are two models that use different sensor types first model is a love tcs series and uses a thermocouple the cost is $70 per controller. The second controller is a ts2 and uses a thermistor and costs $45 per controller. Are there any advantages to using a thermocouple for brewing? Just looking for more info on about why one would be better than the other. The cost of the ts2 is better but will I regret my purchase later?

Both work well for measuring temps. Choose thermistor (or RTD).

I know a lot about thermocouples, RTDs, and thermistors. But just take my word for it, there are several problems using thermocouples with your PID/control box. Go with thermistors. Or RTD.
