I started a blueberry melomel about 2 1/2 years ago and got it to the secondary fermentor. I was then deployed overseas and haven't been able to work with the mead until now. I can't find my notes on what my SG gravity is, but my final is .994. I racked it off of a heavy layer of Lees. It has a strong alcohol taste, no blueberry or honey flavors. I am looking for any advise to save, or flavor up, this batch.

To get some taste back into it, I'd recommend backsweetening it with honey (preferably the same one you used initially if you can). I wouldn't put in a ton; just do it to taste. After that you could add in some blueberries for a week or so to get some of those flavors back. You'll probably want to stabilize with sorbate before you do any of this, even thought it has been so long (just in case).
