Hope no one has posted one of these yet. If so my searching skills officially suck. I'll put up the measurements if anyone wants them

found out it was a misquote after I burned it:(

not my best work, but not bad for someone with no glue, no clamps, & just a prison file to make the handle:)

Here is a little lighter version of 4-pack I just made. It is made of
4 mm birch plywood without any glue or nails. The pieces are cut
by nc router with 4 mm diam. router bit.

These are very sweet.

If I had any room on my plate for more stuff to do I'd make a couple of 4 pack holders.

I like that the last one breaks down for easy storage. Looks like a kind of wooden model, like that pirate ship I built...

^^ wow that four pack is great. I agree with TXCurtis, please post dimensions.

Yep, found out the Franklin quote was wrong on HBT after cut, sanded, burned, and stained. To late for this project.

here are my dimensions using 1/2 in ply:
1 bottom - 6.5" x 6.5"
1 handle - 7" x 5.5" (though you might wanna go taller than 7)
2 dividers- 2.5" x 5"
2 sides - 5.5" x 5"
2 sides - 6.5" x 5"

I forget the standard size small sheet I picked up from Lowes but I was able to cut enough pieces to make 2 4packs and a handle for a third

Don't sweat the misquote. My dad gave me a sweater with the same Ben Franklin quote on it. I wear it with pride. BTW, Those are nice cases!

Yep, that quote is so commonly attributed to Franklin that nobody expect the beer freaks here will probably ever know it's wrong. :D

What? No hard carved dovetail joints?

Exactly. If you can't hand carve dovetail joints with a piece of hand chipped shale that you found along the river, then you have no business calling this a "DIY" project.

I'm assuming, of course, that the wood came from trees that you planted as a child and harvested somewhere around your 50th birthday.

And, obviously, the bottles are all hand-blown glass made from the beach sand right off your back porch...

I mean, really, this is a DIY forum. I'm sure you're not the type of scum that would take shortcuts and try to pass it off as something that you had made all by yourself....

Just kidding man. Those look awesome. Would love the plans so I could run down to home depot for some wood and make some for myself....
