If there is too much yeast in the beer when you bottle, will it give it a sour taste? Any have this problem or have an incidental sour beer?

The saccharomyces strains will not make beer sour, too much in the bottle will not make it sour, it will make it "yeasty". Yes I've had an incidental sour beer but not one that was normal before bottling, not sure what you're asking here.

I had a beer that came out sour but was normal before bottling. Don't know why.

My guess would be an infection of some sort. Maybe from poor sanitation. I had this happen to a porter I bottled that must have gotten some sort of cross contamination from one of my funky beers.

+1 to likely contaminated batch. What yeast did you use? Recipe/Fermentation temps? Yeasts aren't really sour tasting
