What do you think of this one? Seems malty with spicey and citrusy hops.

Im a recipe n00b, but at close to 70 ibu's, it seems this would be anything but malty. Correct me if im wrong.

My critiques--First off, it depends what flavors you're looking for as to what your recipe is. American Pale can be widely interpreted.

I'm not sure what the Mt. hood hops at 75 minutes are going to accomplish as you'll only get bitterness from them. If you want a tad bit more bitterness, add some more nugget (or other bittering hop), or boil them longer. . . Personally, I'd probably not use the wheat, but that's a personal preference. The Vienna and Munich are going to add a quite bit of sweet maltiness to the beer at those percentages-- which, again, may be what you are looking for.

Otherwise, looks good ;)

when i brewed a pale i dry hopped with cascade for the fruity nose and it comes off nicley. ive only tasted it in its green state but its good so far. Presents with a nice complex smell. Looks good and the wheat should add some nice head retention. Let us know how this turns out

Is'nt that an IPA? At least you left out the kitchen sink. This will be interesting and you most kikely will have to age this brew at least 1 month or it will be soooooo sweet.

It's a First Wort Hop (FWH). It will give me bitterness AND flavor. They say the flavor is similar to a 20 minute addition.
I'm looking for a malty Pale Ale that's not too grapefruity. I want some but I also want a little spiciness or earthy bitterness to it.

Thanks for you input guys. Keep them coming. I have revised my recipe. I may even DH with some Amarillo and/or Simcoe.
