stout fermenting weird

I have a stout in a fermenter for 72 hours now, huge krauzen has formed on top of it, but no gas is coming through the airlock....

the krauzen is one of the biggest I've ever had on beer.

hm, don't get it....

Sounds to me like your fermenter is not sealed air tight.

oh, it definitely is sealed, double checked it. and it's brand new...

forgot to mention that I used fermentis S-33 yeast for the first time

Make sure the loose piece in the airlock is floating.... if it is not, it will not bubble.
