Well i've just transfered my first batch to a secondary 5 gallon BB and its nice to see the color and peak in on it every day or so. However I feel I missed the action of the fermenting using the ale pale. So of course if it ain't broke don't fix it but just wondering if a 6 gallon BB would have enough head space for a primary. My LHBS doesn't sell BB larger than 6 gallons.

Another 2 week wait then onto bottle, the wait is just painful. At least I know it'll be worth it, smelled delicious during the transfer.

Thanks for the input all. I'll be sticking with the bucket till I get a few batches under my belt. Also have my eye on some other brewing gadgets and what not. Need that second airlock if i'm to get the primary going again.
