Loose line fittings??

I have 2 new lines 1 beer,1 air(the blue and red ones)I bought a new perlick low profile tap.Both lines are loose and sloppy on the barbed fitting.Why is that???
Edit:I just noticed my tap came with a line with a screw on end.Anyone know the size of adaptor I need?Air line is still an issue
