Anyone have a source for purchasing homebrew-sized amounts of Potassium Carbonate? The homebrew supply stores locally don't carry and on-line sources for food-grade are bulk orders only or from India/China.
 
Any particular reason you don't use potassium bicarbonate?
It is readily available and serves the same purpose in mead crafting.
 
I guess not. I've looked at all the online and local homebrew shops and no one carries it. Where would you suggest looking for it? also seems to be some issue over food grade sources.
