Brewing up on Saturday and was wondering if anyone has tried this combo yet? I have made pumpkin beers every year for five years now and looking for something different. If u have brewed with peaches/apricots, how many lbs per five gal batch did u use? Fresh, vintners or dried?

I just brewed up a peach wheat with fresh peaches. I used about 3/4 lb per gallon. I washed them in starsan, pitted them, mashed them up a bit and then froze them (to both rupture the cells and to hopefully freeze any nasties that may have been on them.

One thing though, personally, I would imagine that the pumpkin would overwhelm and cover up the delicate flavor of a peach.

LOL - looks like Northern Brewer already came up with a kit for that one. The Bud drinkers are already piling on the comments.
