I just smacked my pouch about 3hrs. ago and it is swollen tight. my previous bad luck with these things is why I smacked early even though i wont be brewing until tommorow. should i put it back in the fridge till tommorow bc i prob wont be read to pitch until like 12 or more hours
 
Best choice...boil up a 1/2 quart of water with a 1/2 cup of DME and cool and toss in the yeast. USe a large apple juice jar.

Next best...just let it sit over night.
 
+1 to BierMuncher's comment. IF you've got the DME, go ahead and pitch it to a starter, it'll help build up your yeast count and improve your lag time quite a bit.
