Woke up half an hour ago to a fire extinguisher like spray coming from my regulator. Awesome.
The leak appears to be from the back of the thing you twist to tighten the regulator onto the tank.(that big nut that slides up and down when not attached)
Any insight into why my regulator would randomly leak? Should I just go ahead and buy another? How do I fix it?

You mean the washer? I bought a leak stopper(ironic) from austinhomebrew to replace it.
Ill try the teflon tape. But I ordered a new regulator bc id rather not put new tape on every time I take my tank off the regulator. Any way I can scrap this one and use the parts to add it to the new regulator(thus making it have one highpressure gauge and 2 regular gauges?)
