Well, the blackberries came in late. I wasn't expecting to get many this year, but the berries are ripening and it still hasn't rained, so no mold yet. We have 15 1-gallon bags in various freezers and I suspect Kellie will want to pick even more this weekend. The cider will be re-formulated to 4 lbs per gallon, but that's only four bags. Gave a gallon to her aunt.

On the plus side, we have a gallon of Oregon AKA English Evergreens (the rest are Himalayan AKA Armenian) and two more large bushes to pick. So, I'm thinking batches of jam and a couple quarts of liquor.

I like where this is headed. Congrats on the great harvest!

I got 0 black or red raspberries this year (Heritage and Jacobs). Mostly because I slacked off on watering ... too many other things going on. I'm going to have to move the plants from out of the "20 hours of sun" area I've got em planted.

The deer ate my berries. :(
In about a month, I'll be eating the deer. ;)
Glad you had better luck with your berries.
Regards, GF.
