I bottled a hefeweisen last monday and dumped the trub into this santitized mason jar. I wasn't sure what to do next, so I did nothing. This has been on the counter all week with a loose lid.

Would this still be good to use in the next week or two if I refrigerate it? I could try a quick starter, but I don't know if it is worth it or not. It would save about $7.50 + gas for a WL 300 at the lhbs.

I have found the illustrated yeast washing thread, but I just wasn't sure if this batch would still be good after sitting on the counter for a week at room temperature. I may just do it anyway and a few days before I use the yeast, make a starter just to make sure it is good. If it isn't, I would still have time to hit the lhbs.

It will probably be OK since you still have beer sealing it from above.

It was sitting at the bottom of a fermenter at room temps for a couple of weeks already.

You only need to place it in the fridge to make it go dormant. Warm it up to room temp or make a starter with it before using. ;)
