Want to do a German Pilsner, and do not want to start using liquid yeast again. I started using SafAle US-56 3+ years ago and am extremely happy with the results.

Anyone have any hands on experience with a Pils using any of the Safxxx family of dry yeast.

Thanks

Happy 4th

Another Q:

Hops - I've used Hallertau Hersb. in the past. For some reason, even with a 15 minute addition, the beer had a nice hop aroma

Any hop "mandatory" for a Pils ?
