Waiting for some folks for dinner so ordered a Sam Smith Organic Best Ale. First time tasting this, more malt forward, not much hop aroma but a nice balancing bitterness. I could definitely drink more of this. Its remarkable the number of enjoyable beers Sam Smith makes. Are they independant?

Ive pretty much enjoyed all of them really, although I just had the organic cider a while a go and it was OK-havent had a ton of ciders either, but I know I liked a few of woodchuck ciders more.
I have a pamplet thingy(Merchant duVin-Classic Brewing STyles ,it may be what r2eng was describing. It says: Each benchmark style is produced by a family-or monastery owned craft brewery. Not shure if they make the Pinkus series but those are pretty decent and relativly inexpensive.Oh wait Pinkus is German, pretty tastey though. Some info at merchantduvin.com.(
