I'm not even sure if this is possible although there's gotta be a way! I made a batch of Limoncello and I am curious to know what the Alcohol content is.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Sorry, This is all coming from memory because I dont have the recipe in front of me. Should be pretty close though.

12 lemons
1 bottle (750 ml) Everclear
3 lbs. of sugar
6 or 6 1/2 cups of water

I use the peels without pith from the lemons. Put the peels into a clean glass jar filled with everclear. Let it sit for 8 days. On the 8th day, I make a simple syrup using the water and sugar. Let the syrup cool to room temperature. Strain the peels from the alcohol. Mix "lemon alcohol" with syrup. mix. DRINK!

If a fifth of everclear is 3.2 cups at 95% ABV, and your total final volume was ~9.2 to 9.7 cups, the ABV is roughly 31-33% ((3.2 X 95) /9.2 or 9.7)
