Anybody have any experience with grassy flavor/aroma? The references that I have found say it's due to old/moldy grain/hops used while brewing, but the ingredients were pretty fresh. I selected them myself @ my LBHS, and everything smelled great as I brewed.

Thanks.

Some noble hops maintain subtle grassy smell/flavor not unlike that of horse blanket.
Belgian beers specifically those with Brett also come to mind as being the most noticeable beers that may represent this flavor/taste/aroma.

"fresh cut grass" use to describe the aroma of certain beers. IIRC, it is related to the hops.

What was your recipe?
